Administrative Assistant

G2S Consulting is seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Burlington office. The role is ideal for a flexible, self-starter who enjoys adapting to various roles in the office environment. This position will require occasional presence in our Stouffville office (approximately twice/month).


  • • Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary program is an asset
  • • Proficient with MS Office
  • • Familiarity with QuickBooks and bookkeeping principles

  • • Performing office errands as required

Geotechnical Engineer

G2S Environmental Consulting Inc. is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical Engineering Services Group. G2S is a young growing company, and the successful candidates will share our enthusiasm to grow our business in the field of geotechnical engineering

The Geotechnical Engineer responsibilities are:

  • • Project management and scheduling
  • • Assist in building the geotechnical services group
  • • Preparation of fee estimates and proposals for a variety of clients and sectors
  • • Preparation of concise geotechnical reports
  • • Site Investigation: subsurface site programs, selection of laboratory test regime, interpretation and documentation of results on a wide variety of transportation, municipal and resource related projects
  • • Implement project risk control and loss management
  • • Carry out or supervise field inspection of construction works
  • • Write/Review proposals and technical reports for complex projects
  • • Oversee investigation programs
  • • Supervise, guide and review work of junior staff
  • • Communicate with clients throughout project duration


The Geotechnical Engineer qualifications are:

  • • Undergraduate Degree in Civil/Geological Engineering with registration as a P.Eng. in Ontario, or eligible for registration
  • • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Geotechnical Engineering with emphasis on projects in the Southern Ontario market
  • • Knowledgeable with construction contracts and specifications
  • • Strong analytical skills
