Administrative Assistant
G2S Consulting is seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Burlington office. The role is ideal for a flexible, self-starter who enjoys adapting to various roles in the office environment. This position will require occasional presence in our Stouffville office (approximately twice/month).
Qualifications:
- • Successful completion of a relevant post-secondary program is an asset
- • Proficient with MS Office
- • Familiarity with QuickBooks and bookkeeping principles
- • Strong organization and time management skills
- • Excellent communication skills
- • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- • A friendly, positive attitude
- • A team player with the ability to multi-task
Resposibilities:
- • Work closely with our management team to ensure the efficiency of business processes
- • Day-to-day administrative support of the office
- • Administration of corporate benefits program
- • Reception
- • Assist with accounts payable/accounts receivable activities
- • Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and data entry
- • Assist with accounts payable/accounts receivable activities
- • Handling Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, collecting receipts and categorizing departmental expenses
- • Performing office errands as required
Job Type: Permanent/Part-Time (3-4 days per week). May evolve to Full-Time

Senior or Intermediate Hydrogeologist
We are looking for an intermediate or senior hydrogeologist to join our team based in either our Stouffville or Burlington offices. G2S is a small, energetic company where you will find flexibility for work/life balance, and opportunities to expand your career.
Responsibilities:
- • Design and implementation of hydrogeological assessments related to land development, geotechnical investigations and environmental assessment
- • Providing technical support for environmental remediation and risk assessment projects
- • Permits to take water and construction dewatering
- • Liaising with clients and regulatory bodies
- • Project management
- • Peer review of technical reports
- • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- • Mentoring junior staff
- • Contributing to business development and client relations
Qualifications:
- • Bachelors degree in hydrogeology or related field
- • >5 years experience in a related field, preferably in Ontario
- • P.Geo. or P.Eng. designation, or eligibility
- • Good understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
- • Experience as a Qualified Person under O.Reg 153/04 is an asset
- • Excellent written and oral communication skills
- • Team player and overall positive attitude
- • Fluent in English

Environmental Technicians and Scientists
G2S Environmental Consulting Inc. is currently seeking Environmental Technicians and Scientists to join our Burlington office.
The Environmental Technician or Scientist responsibilities may include the following:
- • Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments
- • Historical data review and subsequent site inspections
- • Soil, groundwater and surface water monitoring and sampling
- • Air and soil vapor sampling
- • Contaminant remediation
- • Hazardous materials investigations
- • Preparation of technical reports
- • Communication with on-site supervisors and the Project Managers
The Environmental Technician or Scientist qualifications are:
- • Diploma or degree from a program with relevant subject matter
- • A general understanding of groundwater monitoring and sampling techniques, soil descriptions and terminology, and quality assurance / quality control is considered an asset
- • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- • Candidates must possess a driver’s license and have access to own vehicle
